The Alter-G Antigravity treadmill is technology created by NASA to retrain astronauts returning from space. It is able to lower your weight bearing to as low as 10% of your body weight, while enabling for you to walk or run with a normal gait pattern and muscle use. This is unlike underwater treadmills where the water created forward resistance.
This is a great tool for recovery from any lower limb injury, back injury as well as being a great tool for those recovering from a stroke, MS flare up or other neurologic conditions.
Unless you have used the Alter-G previously, you must first book an initial visit with one of our therapists to ensure it is an appropriate technology for you to add to your rehab regime.

Farhana graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia, in 2008, with a BAppSc (Physiotherapy) on a Health Sciences Scholarship from Singapore Health Services. Upon graduation, she worked in an acute hospital, rotating through intensive care, general medicine, geriatrics, and orthopaedics. She then went into outpatient spinal care and sports medicine. In the latter, she worked in a multidisciplinary sports clinic with in-house sports doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, podiatrists, dietitians, and exercise physiologists. Assimilating the knowledge and skills gathered from these experiences, Farhana ventured into private practice in Australia and Canada, specializing in orthopaedic, sports and complex musculoskeletal cases. She offers dry needling, manual therapy, pain management, gait analysis, postural correction, and exercise prescription, among a variety of other treatment modalities.
